The Kansas Geological Survey studies, monitors, and provides valuable information about the health of our aquifer systems. We now also provide classroom resources. On our website, you can find aquifer-based activities that help students become familiar with our aquifers — their origins, their location, and how we study their health. These activities can be applied for both earth science and social studies classrooms. To learn more, go to our webpage here: https://kgs.ku.edu/ogallala-aquifer-teaching-activities
