As we wrap up the month of May, we'd like to recognize two important service milestones within the Troy Police Department.

Congratulations to Lieutenant Ed Streicher on 18 years of service and Lieutenant Chad McCallister on 13 years of service!

Why do we wear red on Fridays? ❤️

RED stands for (R)emember (E)veryone (D)eployed — a simple but meaningful reminder that there are men and women serving our country away from home, making sacrifices every day.

For the City of Troy, wearing red on Fridays has an even more personal meaning right now as we support Chief Tienter during his military deployment. While we proudly wear red for him, we also wear it in honor of all those from our community and across our country who are currently deployed.

It may seem like a small gesture, but it sends a big message: you are not forgotten, you are appreciated, and we are thinking of you.

Join us on Fridays by wearing red and helping us remember everyone deployed. 🇺🇸❤️

🚨 URGENT MISSING CHILD ALERT 🚨

The Troy Police Department is asking for the public’s immediate assistance in locating a missing 5-year-old girl:

Evangeline “Evy” Weber (5 years old)
• Last seen wearing a pink and white pull-up diaper when she went to bed
• Autistic with sensory issues
• Walked away from 195 Lewis St between 5:00 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. today

⚠️ She may be scared, nonverbal, or not respond when called. Please approach gently and notify authorities immediately.

At this time, the Troy Police Department is experiencing an outage with our phones and internet services. We are working to resolve the issue and hope to have everything back up soon.

Our front office window is open; however, we are currently unable to process report requests until systems are restored.

The Troy Police Department is seeking the public's assistance to help locate a missing juvenile, known as Kaden, who ran away from his residence off Creekwood Blvd last night. It is possible Kaden could be around the area of Cuivre River State Park at this time.

Last Known Clothing: 👕 Gray and black New Balance zip-up hoodie 👖 Black sweatpants 👟 White and gray Nike tennis shoes

Kaden has been entered as a missing juvenile through Lincoln County Central Communications.

🚓🐾 Community Helpers Event 2026 at the Early Childhood Education Center was a BIG hit! 🎉💙

The kids were thrilled to see our K9 officers in action 🐕‍🦺—watching demonstrations, learning about police dogs, and even getting a chance to say hello! They also loved climbing inside a patrol vehicle, checking out the equipment, and experiencing the 🚨 lights and sirens 🚨 up close.

From smiles and laughter to wide-eyed excitement, it was a morning full of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories! 😊🎈 We’re so grateful for the opportunity to connect with these amazing kids and show them how we help keep the community safe every day.

Thank you to the Lincoln County Early Childhood Education Center for having us—we can’t wait to come back! 💙👮‍♂️🐾

We’re having a fantastic time today at the Pike Lincoln Technical Center Career Expo! It is a beautiful day to be outside and an even better day to connect with the talented young adults in our community.

From technical trades to public service, these students are leveling up their skills and getting ready to take on the world. We’re proud to be here to support them (and maybe recruit a few future officers while we’re at it! 😉).
