🚧 Roadway Preservation Update 🚧

Evergreen Roadworks completed the roadway preservation treatment on July 22.

We've received a few questions about the treated roads and want to reassure everyone that the roadway is dry and safe to drive on. While the surface may appear wet and your tires may sound like you're driving on wet pavement, this is a normal part of the curing process. The preservation product remains slightly sticky to the touch as it cures.

Over the next several days, the wet appearance will gradually fade, and the sound from vehicle tires will lessen as the product continues to cure.

Thank you for your patience as the treatment reaches its final cured state and helps extend the life of our roadways.

If you have questions about the preservation product or any additional concerns, please contact
Stephanie Bryant with Evergreen Roadworks at [email protected]

or the Highway Department at 636-528-7112.

🚧 Roadway Preservation Work Begins July 20 🚧

Lincoln County has contracted with Evergreen Roadworks to apply AMIGUARD RPE-R Asphalt Rejuvenating Seal to help extend the life of our roads and reduce the need for costly repairs.

📅 Work begins July 20 and is expected to be completed by the end of the week, weather permitting. Any delays will be posted on our social media pages.

Roadways being treated:

Fairgrounds Rd .71 miles
Mennemeyer Rd 2.48 miles
Elm Tree Road(s) 3.12 miles
Mette Rd 1.18 miles
Maryknoll Rd 1.16 miles

Crews will work one lane at a time to keep traffic moving. The product will appear khaki in color when first applied and will darken as it soaks into the pavement.

⚠️ Please do not drive on the freshly applied product and follow all directions from flaggers.

If you accidentally drive through the fresh product, don't worry—soap and water will remove it from your vehicle, and any tracking on driveways will fade naturally over time.

Thank you for your patience as we complete this important road maintenance project!

Work zones are a temporary inconvenience. Slow down—our lives depend on it.

If your family worked in a road construction zone, you'd want drivers to slow down and stay alert. Our families want the same for us.

We don't speed through your workplace. Please don't speed through ours.

Every worker deserves to make it home safely at the end of the day. Slow down, stay focused, and help us get home to our families.
