As a mom with two children in Troy Schools and wife to a proud Athens graduate, I’m running for Troy City Council because our city is the best place to raise a family, and I want to keep it that way. For 70 years, Troy stands as a powerful example of what happens when a community cares for one another. From the ground up, we built a vibrant and safe city where families and businesses can thrive, supported by an outstanding police department and a proud volunteer fire department. Moving Troy forward means we need to invest in the right things for Troy, today. My experience as someone who grew up in a small, family-owned business and worked her way up from the shop floor to the boardroom means I know how to make tough decisions, build solid partnerships and keep our hard-earned tax dollars going towards what matters most to:

o Keep Troy Safe … support our Police, EMS and Fire Departments

o Keep Troy Together… through parks, trails, greenspaces and community centers ensuring people of every age remain active and involved

o Keep Troy Growing… attract and retain businesses and families committed to strengthening our incredible community. Keeping Troy Safe, Together and Growing requires a bold leader who knows how to get things done. Put my decades of experience as a proven leader, active mom and confident community builder to work for you.

Proud to stand as a unified Council against hate and violence.

Thankful our Troy Police Department - Troy, Michigan acted quickly and prevented a truly terrible situation from becoming tragic.

My thoughts are with those who were in harms way- both as the victims who feared for their safety as well as the many patrons and employees at the library.

A 79-year-old Troy man is facing multiple charges after allegedly making threats of violence against four men offering to discuss Islam with the public outside the library.

Really proud of our girl botz! Amazing!

We had the privilege of honoring the Girl Botz, the all girls FTC Team 22918 from Larson Middle School, at the most recent City Council meeting for their win at the 2026 FTC Global Premier. They were one of 2 middle school teams to earn the Global Trophy and won the 2nd Place Reach Award for STEM excellence.

The Girl Botz empowers students through hands-on STEM learning, teamwork, problem-solving, volunteerism, and a commitment to expanding opportunities. We’re incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where their creativity, dedication, and teamwork take them next! 🤖💜

Don’t miss this incredible experience not only to learn more about how our city operates, but meet others who want to serve our community. The sessions fly by! Highly recommend.

There's only one week left to apply for the 2026 Community Academy.

Curious about how your local government works behind the scenes? This 8-week program meets Wednesday evenings from September 16 through November 4 and offers a hands-on look at city operations.

You'll get to participate in the firefighter agility test, meet the K-9 units at the Troy Police Department, learn about the 7 different school districts in Troy, and more!

Spots are limited. Apply by August 14 at troymi.gov/CommunityAcademy.
