We would like to congratulate our very own, Firefighter Braden Martin on receiving several outstanding honors recognizing his dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving others.

Braden was recently awarded:

Rensselaer County Conservation Alliance Scholarship

Assistant Chief Walter Webster Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Albert J. Doyle Memorial Award for Community Service

Certificate of Award for winning the annual essay competition, “What Freedom Means to Me,” presented by the Elmer A. Grogan Scholarship from VFW Post 6340

The Dave Plew Car Two Memorial Award, presented in honor of Fire Chief David R. Plew.

These awards reflect Braden’s outstanding character, commitment to his community, and bright future. We are proud to have him as a member of the Mountain View Fire Company and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes.

Congratulations, Braden! We wish you continued success in all your future endeavors.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.
