We're good at investing in Tahoe Truckee’s future. Generations of our Donors, Board, Staff, and Volunteers have been doing it since 1998.

Since 2017, we’ve taken a disciplined approach to the way we invest in our community leaders, regional data and education, partnerships, and opportunities.

TTCF's Impact Portfolio is the most natural evolution of that work- bringing together strategies, partners, and capital to tackle Tahoe Truckee's greatest challenges as one interconnected system.

We're excited to introduce Maeve Donovan as TTCF's first Impact Portfolio Director. Maeve brings both analytical rigor and deep roots in this community — and she's exactly the right person to lead this next chapter.

This work is exciting stuff. Here’s A Candid Look at the Strategy Behind the Impact, by Stacy Caldwell, CEO.

Grantmaking is a financial tool for creating meaningful community change. But it isn’t the only one.

TTCF’s Forest Futures Initiative seeks to build a Forest Economy- one that includes private business. Why? For one, to have places to process the hazardous, excess wood that has been growing in our forests.

Saché Cantu, TTCF Chief Operating Officer, sat down for an interview in our Spring Impact Report. She shares how TTCF's financial toolkit is designed to unlock projects that traditional philanthropy alone can't fund.

Get to know Saché, a self-proclaimed softie and finance nerd who got “a little teary-eyed” when TTCF’s Board of Directors approved a policy that created a clear, repeatable way to invest in our community.

What might surprise you is that your local Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation has been utilizing Impact Investments for nearly 15 years. The first was to purchase and renovate a Kings Beach motel that would become the headquarters of [Sierra Community House]. Perhaps you’ve heard of it?

Wildfire resilience doesn't happen on a single property or through a single organization. It happens when landowners, nonprofits, and government agencies align around a shared goal — and stay aligned.

This spring, TTCF's Forest Futures Initiative and CAL FIRE completed a multi-year pilot program – 7 forest health projects covering 381 treated acres across the Tahoe-Truckee region.

The result is a landscape — and the communities within it — that are meaningfully more resilient. This is what showing up & working together actually looks like.

Anthony Garcia-Ramirez grew up right here in Truckee. He's the first in his family to go to college — and he didn't get there alone.

Two multi-year scholarships, made possible by donors like you, are supporting Anthony as he builds a future that gives back to this community.

This is what your generosity looks like. Read his full story in the Spring 2026 Impact Report at www.TTCF.net.

Life in Tahoe is extraordinary — the mountains, the lake, the people. And like a lot of resort communities, alcohol is often woven into the culture of how we celebrate, decompress, and connect.

Spring is the perfect time to explore what mindful drinking — or not drinking — can look like in a community like ours.

Zero Proof, For You is a community-driven initiative right here in Truckee/Tahoe — not about judgment, not about quitting, but about having options.
