👋 Hello Everyone!

The Truman Swimming Pool is still hiring for the 2026 summer season.
Applications can be picked up and returned at the Truman Public Utilities office.

Here is some information on where and when lifeguard classes will be available.
*Please be aware that the city WILL NOT reimburse +/or pay for this 2 year certification class UNLESS
1. You are HIRED by the City of Truman as an employee PRIOR to taking the class
2. You COMPMETE and PASS the ENTIRE certification COURSE

Please keep in mind when choosing a class that
YOU MUST BE atleast 15 years old by the last day of the class you sign up for..

Summer time is right around the corner and we're looking for full and part-time lifeguards. Applications can be picked up at the Truman Public Utilities building.
Information for when and where lifeguard & first aide classes will be held will be given to all applicants that are hired.
We're looking forward to seeing our returning guards and welcoming new ones.

We will be open today Saturday August 23rd from 1-5pm and 6:30-9pm

⛔️We WILL NOT BE OPEN on Sunday.❌️
The lifeguards will be there cleaning and packing up.

I would personally like to thank the community for all the support that we received this summer. From buying passes or punch cards to signing up for swimming lessons.🤽🏽‍♀️🏊🏼‍♀️ For all the donations brought in for our food drive 🥫 and by showing up to support our fundraisers and late night swims.🏊🏼‍♀️

🏊🏼🏊🏼‍♀️Tomorrow- Friday August 22nd is our last LATE NIGHT SWIM of the year. 9-11pm Cost is $3

🤽🏽‍♀️🤽🏼‍♂️ Last water aerobics session is August 22nd 5:30-6:30pm

Saturday-August 23rd is the last day the pool will be open to the public.

GOLF COURSE: The balls and clubs for our golf course will no longer be left outside. They will be inside the pool concession and can be checked by each individual.

The end of the summer is here. This is the last week that the Truman Swimming Pool will be open for the season. We will be open
Monday thru Saturday 1-5pm & 6:30-9pm (weather permitting) and
this Friday will be our last late night swim from 9-11pm. The cost is $3.00

We currently leave the golf course open and free to the public but we have been having problems with children causing damages to the golf course. Smashing pavers, busting clubs, stealing balls, removing bricks & rocks from their spots, smashing flowers and ruining the landscaping.
Parents please have a responsible person/sibling supervising your children while golfing. If you are watching other children at practices in the fields please do not send kids over to the golf course to play unattended. Hopefully this notice will make everyone aware what has been happening when some children are left unsupervised. We want to be able to keep it unlocked so that everyone is able to enjoy it at any time. Thank you.

🏖🤿 Theres only 2 more weeks left to our 2025 summer season at the pool.

This week we are open to the public from 1-5pm Monday-Sunday.

🤽🏼‍♂️🏊🏼 Water Aerobics will only be held on Monday and Wednesday this week from 5:30-6:30pm

Next week will be our
LAST WEEK OPEN !!
Regular hours will resume on Monday August 18th thru our LAST DAY Saturday August 23rd

🌜🏊🏼‍♀️Our LAST LATE NIGHT SWIM will be held on Friday August 22nd. 9-11pm. The cost is $3 Everyone must pay to stay.

👀 Please check our lost and found tote for items that may have been left behind this year. We will not keep any items not picked up.

🤿🎽 Thank you everyone that came to LATE NIGHT SWIM last night. We hope you enjoyed it.

👏 Once again GUARDS, you all did an exceptional job at keeping our guest safe.

A few reminders:

🤽🏽‍♀️🤽🏼‍♂️ Next weeks Water Aerobics will ONLY be held on Monday Aug. 11th and Wednesday Aug. 13th. We will return to regularly scheduled hours and days starting on Aug. 18th.

THE LAST WEEK WE ARE OPEN is Aug. 18th - 23rd. 🏁

🌛 🤿 The last LATE NIGHT SWIM is scheduled for Aug. 22nd from 9-11pm. The cost is $3.
