Job Description:

Our early childhood center is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant in our Preschool classroom. Hours vary from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

The ideal candidate must have experience working with toddlers and preschool-age children, be comfortable and confident caring for infants to school-age children, have excellent communication skills, and be a nurturing and patient caregiver. Teaching Assistants help to create innovative lesson plans and enhance the learning environment for our students.

Our early childhood center is looking for a Lead Early Care & Toddler Teacher for one of our Early Care Classrooms (ages 0-24 months). The ideal candidate must have experience working with infants and toddlers, be comfortable and confident caring for infants and toddlers, have excellent communication skills, and be a nurturing and patient caregiver. Lead Teachers create innovative lesson plans involving sensory, cognitive, and motor development to enhance the learning environment for our students. Creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on the specific needs of each child
Work with children in the classroom to promote their learning and development

Implement daily lessons including sensory activities, cognitive activities, and motor activities
Diapering, feeding, and tending to the daily needs of infants and toddlers
Develop a sound knowledge and understanding of New York State OCFS Regulations for Day Care Centers
