🚨Public Notice🚨

This Saturday August 29th, State Route 534 will be closed between Monarch Meadow Vineyard and Matson Rd during the times of 11:30 and 12:00 due to a funeral procession. Please be patient and respectful to everyone involved. Normal flow of traffic will be restored immediately after the procession has cleared the roadway.

At 01:10 am this morning we were dispatched for motor vehicle accident with reports of the vehicle on fire. We are actively working on this incident alongside the coroners office. An official press release will be coming very soon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and Thompson members. We will be thinking of all of you in this difficult time.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our own, Brooke Jewell. She died this morning as a result of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident.

Although Brooke was with the department for a short time, she made a meaningful and lasting impact on those who had the privilege to serve alongside her. She will be deeply missed.
