🚨 CANCEL/ FOUND SILVER ALERT UPDATE–🚨

Dhundup Dorjee was located safely early this morning.

The department appreciates the assistance and concerns.

🚨SILVER ALERT – MISSING PERSON 🚨

The Trumbull Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Dhundup Dorjee, a New York resident who was visiting family in Trumbull.

Dhundup left on a bicycle ride at approximately 9:00 AM on May 31, 2026, and did not return home. He was last seen wearing a maroon sweatshirt and gray pants and riding a purple and black Trek mountain bike.

He is unfamiliar with the area and his destination is unknown. Dhundup has not taken his medications for 4–5 days and does not have a cell phone, money, or other means of communication with him.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Trumbull Police Department at 203-261-3665 or call 911 immediately.

6/2/26 Main Street Traffic Advisory

On Tuesday June 2, 2026, Main Street will be temporarily closed between Lake Avenue and Clark Road from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the Bridgeport Area Firefighter’s Memorial Procession. A detour will be in place diverting all Main Street traffic onto Lake Avenue, Sterling Road, Walker Road, Catherine Street, and Clark Road. Residents will be unable to access Edgewood Avenue, Pinehurst Street, Briarcroft Avenue, Lakewood Drive, and Placid Street during this time. Commercial trucks will be unable to use the detour route and are advised to avoid the area during the road closure.

On Tuesday June 2, 2026, Main Street will be temporarily closed between Lake Avenue and Clark Road from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the Bridgeport Area Firefighter’s Memorial Procession.  A

Please be advised that the on Sunday, May 17th, the Town’s Police, Fire, and EMS personnel will be conducting a training drill near the entrances and trails of the Pequonnock Valley.

Residents may notice the presence of emergency response vehicles and personnel in the area. Please do not be alarmed, as this is only a drill.
