Sierra County is Hiring: Chief Procurement Officer

Sierra County is seeking a Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to join our Finance Department.

This position plays an important role in County operations, overseeing procurement and contract administration while also coordinating capital improvement, construction, facilities, technology, and other County projects from planning through completion.

We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple projects, and able to work effectively with County departments, contractors, consultants, vendors, and funding agencies.

Minimum qualifications include:
• Associate’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Four years of related experience, including at least two years in purchasing/procurement
• A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
