The library is hosting a Christmas decorating competition this year! We really want to see participation and encourage you to help us make this event a success!

There will be two possible ways to win! Be voted as Best Christmas Decorations by our panel of judges or as Town Favorite by the citizens of Tryon!

Due to the thunderstorms, we are going to have to reschedule Fall Fest to next Thursday, October 30th. We hope to be able to see you all then!

Fall Fest is TOMORROW! We are so excited to see everyone come down, get some candy, do some crafts and play some games! We'll be at Tiger Park between 5-7!

The library is taking applications for senior commodity boxes again! We have four spots open on our waitlist and are looking to fill them! Even if you think you earn too much to qualify, please stop by the library and fill out an application. We will determine eligibility on the spot. You must be over 60 years old to qualify.

We are still taking school supplies drop offs for a few more days!

Please have all items dropped off by August 12th. If you can donate, please drop items off at city hall! You can get more information on what we need to fill backpacks on our website, https://tryon.okpls.org/ Thank you very much!

Hi friends! Just giving a quick update. The library will be closed this Saturday the 9th, Tuesday the 12th, and Wednesday the 13th.

If you have any books you'd like to return, feel free to swing by and drop them on my desk! I will handle them when I return.

Senior commodity boxes WILL still be next week, however, calls/those whose boxes I drop off will go out on THURSDAY instead of Wednesday. Our other lovely volunteer will be here with the book Wednesday if you still want to pick them up then. Thank you for your continued patronage with the library. We appreciate every one of you.
