What a wonderful way to kick off Pride Month! 🌈

Miss Florence joined the Village Pride celebration this weekend with a special Storytime for our youngest patrons and their families. Thank you to everyone who came out to listen, participate, and celebrate with us!

The festivities were extra special because they also marked Miss Florence’s one-year anniversary at the Tuckahoe Library. We are so grateful for all the creativity, kindness, and joy she has brought to our community over the past year.

It was truly a double celebration! 🎉📚🌈

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country this Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Please note that the library is closed today in observance of the holiday.

This past Saturday, we were delighted to welcome Howard Cohen to the library for a beautiful cello performance enjoyed by all who attended. He also performed a wonderful rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” making the afternoon especially meaningful ahead of Memorial Day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special program! We look forward to seeing you again soon when the library reopens tomorrow.

We have some great programs for adults and families this week at the Library! On Wednesday, May 27th at 6 pm we will have architects, Anthony Romeo and Dale Laurin presenting a thrilling talk about architecture and how it affects us. Our Beginner Knitting and Crochet Workshop is back on Wednesday, May 27th at 6pm. Then we have fun for the whole family, ages 8+, on Saturday, May 30th at 2 pm. Four Eastchester women will share their true-life stories and experiences during the American Revolution! A Q & A and a small craft program will follow the presentation.
