Directions to the Tuckahoe Public Library N.Y. State Thruway (either No. or So.): Exit Tuckahoe Road (East) and follow Armor Villa into Tuckahoe. Make a left on Columbus Avenue (after you cross the RR tracks) and go to the next stoplight. From Bronx River Parkway(either No. or So.): Take Leewood Drive exit; go under one-car bridge and make an immediate right onto Dale Road. Dale Road turns into Columbus Avenue. Proceed two stoplights to library From Hutchinson River Parkway: Take North Avenue exit or Mill Road exit (depending on whether you are coming from the north or the south).Go towards Eastchester (West). Mill Road becomes Fisher Avenue after you cross Rt. 22. Road ends at Columbus Avenue at the Crestwood train station. Turn left and go to the next stoplight. By Train: Get off at either Tuckahoe or Crestwood station and walk down Columbus Avenue (north if from Tuckahoe, and south if from Crestwood). The library is between the two stations.

Library Services
Photocopy Service:
The Library has one photocopier. Materials may be copied for a charge of 15 cents per page.
Reference Service:
Come in or call with your questions. We will be glad to help you with your information and research needs. With our extensive range of databases and online searching capabilities available through our system, we can call upon a vast amount of outside resources if we do not have the answer on hand.
Homebound Services:
If you are a Tuckahoe resident who can't get to the library because you are ill or disabled, call the library at 961-2121. If you qualify, we will arrange for a volunteer to deliver library materials to your home.
Computer/Internet Access:
The Tuckahoe Public Library has a personal computers, printers and assorted software for public use. There is a charge of 15 cents per printed page. 50 cents for pages printed in color. Other computers in the library support library databases, providing access to the catalogs of other county public and academic libraries. Periodically classes are given at the library to demonstrate "How to Search the Internet".
Universal Return
All public libraries in Westchester allow for what we call "Universal Return" which means you can return all materials to any public library in Westchester except for Interlibrary Loan books which would need to be returned to the library from which you borrowed them from. Those books come from a college or from another state and would have something on them to indicate that they should be returned to the borrowing library.
