Wrap up your summer in style at the final TKR Summer of Fun First Friday Concert! Head on over to Tucker Town Green this Friday, September 4 and spend the evening with Foozer as they bring the biggest hits from Foo Fighters and Weezer.

Bring your lawn chairs, round up your friends, and enjoy a free night of live music. There will be beverage and food vendors available on-site.

Reminders:
- No glass containers allowed.
- No pets are allowed with the exception of service animals.

Lace up those sneakers! Youth Basketball registration is officially open. Whether your child is brand new to the court or ready to dominate game day, we've got a spot for them!

Ages:
- 3-6 (Co-ed teams)
- 7-17 (All-boys and all-girls teams)

Season Timeline:
- Evaluations: October
- Practices Begin: November
- Games Start: December

Ready to let your furry best friend make a splash before summer wraps up?🐾💦

Treat your pup to an unforgettable afternoon of swimming and socialization at our Doggy Pool Party at Kelley Cofer Pool on Monday, September 7!

Details:
- Date: Monday, September 7
- Location: Kelley Cofer Pool | 4259 N. Park Drive
- Cost: $15 per dog (Humans are free!)
- Sessions: 3:30-4:30 p.m. (dogs under 40 lbs.) | 4:45-5:45 p.m. (dogs over 40 lbs.)

Kelley Cofer Pool will be open to the public from 12-3 p.m. and Rosenfeld Pool will be open from 12-6 p.m.

Important Notes:
- Registration is required.
- Owners must show proof of current DHPP & Rabies vaccinations.
- Dogs must wear rabies tag at all times.
- Limit of 2 dogs per handler an downers must clean up after their pets.
- Dogs swim at owner's risk.

Parks in the Dark: Flying Insects!🐛🔦

Step into the shoes of an entomologist for a fascinating nighttime exploration on Friday, September 18 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Tucker Nature Preserve! In partnership with UGA, we're diving into the world of flying insects and learning how scientists study them in the field.

This free evening features a guided outdoor experience using a special blacklight setup to observe and identify nocturnal insect activity, followed by a cozy campfire and s'mores to wrap up the night!🍫🔥

Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged.

What a wonderful morning at Kelley Cofer Lake! We had a fantastic turnout for our Community Fishing Day this past Saturday and it was great to see so many families, neighbors, and first-time anglers out by the water.

Thank you to everyone who dropped by, cast a line, and made the morning so much fun. We'd also like to thank our team and volunteers who helped hand out gear and bait and provided anglers with helpful tips throughout the morning!🎣
