Secretary Scott Bessent appeared in a television interview to address a question Americans skeptical of the Iran framework have been asking: where does Iran’s money actually go?

The initial release will likely flow from Qatar, and U.S. Treasury personnel will be 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐡𝐚 — watching every dollar of allocation in real time.

Critics of the Iran deal have raised legitimate questions about diversion risk. Bessent’s answer is boots on the ground: American Treasury officials in Qatar, reviewing allocations as they happen. There is nothing radical about this. Voter ID is not an American invention and it is not a Republican scheme — it is a 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝. Presler listed the countries that require voters to verify their identity and citizenship: Mexico, Brazil, India, Argentina, Peru, Botswana, and Burundi. The House of Representatives has already passed the SAVE America Act. The Senate now holds the vote. The Democratic argument against voter ID — that it disenfranchises voters — is an argument no other functioning democracy on earth has accepted. The message to the Senate from Presler and the grassroots conservative movement is equally clear: any senator who refuses to push this bill through before the November 2026 midterms needs to be replaced by someone who will.

SUPREME COURT HANDS DHS MAJOR WIN: GREEN CARD HOLDERS CAN BE TREATED AS BORDER APPLICANTS OVER PENDING CRIMES

In a 6-3 ruling issued Tuesday, the Supreme Court sided with the Department of Homeland Security, allowing officials to treat lawful permanent residents as new applicants for admission if they leave the country while facing pending criminal charges even without a conviction.

The case centered on Muk Choi Lau, a Chinese citizen who became a green card holder in 2007. He departed for China in 2012 amid trademark counterfeiting charges, later tried to reenter, and was placed in removal proceedings.
