Pima County Youth, between the ages of 12 and 25 years of age are invited to join the Community Prevention Coalition's Youth Website Advisory Committee (YWAC) in order to contribute ideas for features and content for BeFreePima.com, and actively to promote the reduction of underage drinking and other substance abuse in their schools, neighborhoods and homes.

Calling all social work, behavioral health, medical, law enforcement, other interested professional associates, and neighbors concerned about the opioid epidemic that resulted in 510 deaths in Pima County last year:
The Pima County Community Prevention Coalition (CPC) of PPEP, Inc. will present the 7th Annual Southern Arizona Opioid Misuse Prevention Symposium on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Desert Diamond Casino.
The $65 attendance fee includes entry to the Symposium, a continental breakfast, refreshments during breaks, lunch, a raffle ticket, and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

The Amado Youth Center and PPEP Inc are facilitating a THRIVE Youth Resiliency Program at the Sahuarita Library in Sahuarita, Arizona! The program starts Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 2:30-4:30pm. Youth attending 4-8th grade are welcome to register!

Youth who attend the program will learn how to cope with stress, manage emotions, set goals, and make healthy decisions. The program will also discuss drug and alcohol prevention.
