It is time to change our mode of government and organize as a parliamentary type govt. No president , just members in proportion to the votes on social issues.
1. Trump will not be utilizing the congress. I know he is supposed to but he is not. He is already making deals and he hasn't even taken office. He will be making policy and doing whatever he pleases and an impotent congress
will have to sit by.
2. Rather than trying to fight him, please consider using this time to create a new faction of congress called the independent progressive parliamentary party. While republicans and democrats are wringing their hands about trumps aberrant behavior, start your coalition and recruit members of congress and all influential movers and shakers who support progressive social policies including abolishing the electoral college.
3. Trump will be blowing up the current system so this is an excellent time to fill the void with a constructive move.
4. The 2 party congressional system is dead. Instead of wasting your time rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, bring in a large helicopter and whisk us to safety.
6. It doesn't matter who leads the Democratic Party. The Democratic and Republican parties are both doomed.
7. Be proactive and utilize what little power you have left. Time is of the essence. Once trump starts twisting all the money people to his way and they align with him, it will be too late.
8. Learn from the lessons of N**i Germany and the French revolution. We have no time to waste. We need people to think and act strategically and stop whining about the next 4 years.
