Last week, Aviva Children's Services hosted our first Back-to-School Resource Fair! ✏️🎒

Youth in foster care and the families who care for them were welcomed to the Aviva office to pick out a backpack, fill it with school supplies, and learn about the different services and support available in the community.

Thank you to AZ Department of Child Safety, Arizona's Children Association, Spreading Threads Clothing Bank, Intermountain Centers, Southwest Gas Corporation, Easterseals Blake Foundation, Casa de los Niños, Our Growing Tree, Foster Alliance, Youth Villages Arizona, Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, and Boost A Foster Family for helping us get essential school supplies in the hands of youth in foster care.

As you explore each table, students will receive school supplies and a backpack to help them start the school year prepared and ready to learn!

This event is for youth in foster care and the families who care for them. Please RSVP through the link. You will need the Case ID and individual child PI or AHCCCS numbers for this process.

Last month, Dentists of Tucson hosted a shoe drive for the youth we serve. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and continued support of our programs!
Last year, Aviva provided more than 700 pairs of shoes to youth in foster care. Donations like these help make that possible.

Looking for places to donate school supplies to youth in foster care? Here are some of the amazing donors collecting for Aviva's Back to School Drive! Items can also be dropped off at our office at 153 S. Plumer Ave.

Every donation will make an impact in your local community. By supporting Aviva, you are supporting the 3000 youth in foster care Aviva serves a year through comprehensive behavioral health services, ongoing family support, and emergency resources.

2026 limits for the Charitable Foster Care Tax Credit allow for up to $632 for single filers and up to $1,262 for married/joint filing.

Here are some items the Aviva Divas have been working on! There are quilts, tortilla holders, totes, wine bottle gift bags, and so much more for sale at the Aviva office. Stop by anytime during business hours to take a look at these beautiful, quality-made items!

All proceeds from Diva sales benefit the Aviva Holiday Program where over 2000 youth in foster care are given holiday gifts.
