A huge THANK YOU to Morgan Stanley for their generosity and hands-on support today! πŸ’™

Not only did their team donate much-needed hygiene kit items, but they also rolled up their sleeves and volunteered their time to assemble the kits for our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship.

These hygiene kits provide essential items that help restore dignity, comfort, and hope to those we serve. We are so grateful for community partners like Morgan Stanley who make a direct impact through both giving and service.

Thank you for helping us meet human needs and change lives right here in Tucson! 🧼πŸͺ₯🧴🀝

🐾 Help Protect Paws This Summer! 🐾

The Arizona heat can be dangerous for pets, especially those experiencing homelessness alongside their owners or staying at The Salvation Army Tucson's Hospitality House shelter.

We're currently in need of dog booties to help protect paws from scorching sidewalks, streets, and park surfaces during these extreme temperatures. These simple items can make a big difference in keeping our four-legged friends safe and comfortable.

If you'd like to donate dog booties or other pet supplies, please drop off donations at The Salvation Army Tucson Hospitality House, 1002 N. Main Avenue.

Together, we can care for every member of our community, two-legged and four-legged alike. ❀️🐢

πŸ‘ŸπŸ’™ A huge thank you to the Dinking Divas at SaddleBrooke Ranch for their incredible generosity!

Through their amazing shoe drive, more than 1,300 pairs of shoes were collected and distributed to five different homeless service providers throughout our community.

The Salvation Army Tucson was grateful to receive more than 200 pairs of shoes, which were distributed through our The Salvation Army Tucson Amphi Corps and Hospitality House programs to help individuals and families in need.

Something as simple as a new pair of shoes can provide comfort, dignity, and hope. Thank you to the Dinking Divas for making such a meaningful impact and helping our neighbors take positive steps forward.

Together, we are moving the mission forward! πŸ‘Ÿβ€οΈ

🍩❀️ Happy National Donut Day! ❀️🍩

What a sweet day it was! Today, The Salvation Army Tucson hit the road delivering dozens and dozens of delicious Bashas' Supermarkets donuts to veterans, first responders, community partners, and other organizations throughout Tucson as a small way to say THANK YOU for all they do.

National Donut Day honors the Salvation Army's legendary "Donut Lassies," who served donuts and provided comfort to American soldiers during World War I. More than a century later, we're proud to continue that tradition of encouragement and appreciation.

And the donuts weren't the only treat! We also handed out our special "Donut Forget How Awesome You Are!" cards, complete with a donut pen and donut keychain attached. They were a HUGE hit and brought lots of smiles and laughs throughout the day! 🍩

A special thank you to Bashas' for their incredible support of National Donut Day and for donating 10% of all donut sales today to The Salvation Army. Your generosity helps us continue serving our neighbors throughout Southern Arizona.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed us today. We had so much fun spreading a little joy, one donut at a time!

Enjoy some of our favorite moments from the day! πŸ©πŸ“Έ

πŸš°πŸ’§ What an incredible start to Hydrate Arizona!

Today, we picked up our very first water donation collection from Albertsons on La CaΓ±ada, and thanks to the generosity of shoppers in our community, it was a FULL PALLET of bottled water, and they want pickups each week! πŸ™Œ

Every case donated will help provide much-needed hydration to our neighbors facing Arizona's extreme summer heat. Your kindness is making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

A huge thank you to Albertsons, their amazing team members, and every customer who donated. This is what community looks like! ❀️

There's still time to participate in Hydrate Arizona. Stop by your local Albertsons and Safeway stores to donate a case of water (or more) to help keep our neighbors safe and hydrated this summer.
