🚍🎒 THERE’S STILL TIME TO STUFF THE BUS! 🎒🚍

We’re at Walmart today at 3435 E. Broadway, and our goal is BIG...fill the entire Sun Tran bus with new school supplies! 🚌📚

We’re here until 6 PM, so there’s still time to stop by and help local students get ready for a successful school year!

🎒 Pick up a few new school supplies while you shop and help us fill the bus!

🔔 And don’t forget, our Red Kettle is here, too! Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and will help The Salvation Army Tucson All Nations Corps provide school supplies and support to local families in need.

🍦 A Little Sweet Relief at Hospitality House! 🍦

Yesterday, we turned up the fun and cooled things down with one of our favorite traditions at The Salvation Army Tucson Hospitality House: an Ice Cream Social! ❤️

Our shelter clients and staff enjoyed a delicious afternoon treat, complete with 14 different toppings to choose from and a variety of syrups to make each sundae just right. 🍨✨

We host several ice cream socials throughout the year because they’re always a favorite among our clients, especially those who are working hard through our programs and taking important steps toward securing a place of their own.

With temperatures reaching such extreme levels, yesterday was the perfect time to bring everyone together for some cool treats, laughter and a little well-deserved fun. ☀️🍦

At Hospitality House, it’s about more than providing shelter. It’s about creating a safe, supportive environment where people can work toward a brighter future, and sometimes that journey includes ice cream! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the generous donation of school supplies from our friends at Chapman Automotive Chapman Cares and GOS Powered by Gibson's! Their partnership is helping ensure local students have the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn and succeed. 📚🎓

After dropping off their incredible donation, the team took a tour of The Salvation Army Tucson Hospitality House and got a firsthand look at the many ways we serve our community every day. They were amazed to see all that happens within our walls and to learn about the programs and services provided to individuals and families in need.

We are so thankful for community partners like Chapman Automotive and Gibson Office Solutions who don't just donate...they show up, learn about our mission, and help make a difference right here in Tucson. ❤️

🚌🎒 Help us fill the bus before 6 p.m.! 📚✏️

There’s still time to make a difference for local students!

The Salvation Army Tucson Amphi Corps is at Walmart, 7635 N. La Cholla Blvd., today until 6 p.m., collecting new school supplies during its Stuff-the-Bus event. Look for The Salvation Army bus and help us pack it full of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, folders, and other classroom essentials for children in our community.

Can’t shop? No problem! Stop by our Red Kettle at the event and make a monetary donation to help provide school supplies for local families in need.

Every donation, big or small, helps students start the school year ready to learn and succeed.

Hurry and help us fill the bus before the day is over! ❤️🚌🎒

🐾❤️ Thanks to an incredibly generous $1,000 donation designated specifically for pet supplies to help animals endure Arizona's extreme summer heat, more pets in our community will be protected during the hottest months of the year!

Because of this thoughtful gift, The Salvation Army Tucson was able to purchase the protective dog booties shown in the photos below. These special booties help shield dogs' paws from scorching pavement that can reach dangerous temperatures during the intense summer heat.

For many individuals experiencing homelessness, their pets are cherished companions and often their only source of unconditional love. Keeping them safe and comfortable is just as important as caring for their owners.

To our amazing donor, thank you for your compassion, generosity, and love for our four-legged friends. Your gift is making a real difference...one paw at a time! 🐶🐾❤️

Today was an incredible day at The Salvation Army Tucson Amphi Corps Community Center! ❤️📚🎒

Because of the generosity of our community, approximately 500 people were served during today's Back-to-School event, helping local children head into the new school year with confidence.

Together, we distributed:
🎒 350 backpacks filled with school supplies
👕 More than 1,000 new shirts
👟 Hundreds of pairs of brand-new shoes
✏️ Individual school supplies for students who needed them

A very special thank you to philanthropist Cindy Goritz, whose extraordinary generosity made this event possible by donating all of the brand-new clothing and shoes. Her kindness is making a lasting difference in the lives of hundreds of local children and families.

The smiles on the faces of the children said it all. They left excited, confident, and ready to start the school year with the essentials they need to succeed. 🎒📘👕👖👟🥿

To every volunteer, donor, community partner, and supporter who gave their time, talents, and resources, thank you for helping us share hope and make a meaningful impact in our community.
