💚 What a beautiful day in Graham County!💚

Today, Graham County Girl Scouts hosted “Rise & Recognize”, a community celebration honoring the first responders who show up, step up, and serve as hometown heroes every single day.

And because we’re Girl Scouts, we couldn’t just say thank you... we had to add a little friendly competition! 😉

Girl Scouts teamed up with local law enforcement and first responders to compete for some serious Graham County bragging rights, taking on an obstacle course, relay races, and plenty of challenges along the way.

🏆 This year’s bragging rights officially belong to Graham County Search & Rescue! They’ll hold the title until next year and, perhaps even more importantly, walked away with a stash of Girl Scout Cookies we found hiding in the freezer.

A huge thank you to Graham County Search & Rescue, the Graham County Sheriff’s Department, and Safford Fire for spending the day with our Girl Scouts and making this event so much fun.

And to every first responder and local agency serving Graham County, even if you weren’t able to compete with us today, please know you do not go unrecognized. We see the work you do, the sacrifices you make, and the countless ways you care for this community.

Today was about fun, connection, community, and a whole lot of gratitude.

Thank you for answering the call, today and every day.

The last day to register for LeadHERship is Friday, September 4. Registration gets you an exclusive fun patch, a t-shirt, and all meals, including Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as Sunday breakfast and lunch.

Today, we say goodbye to a true national treasure—and one of our Girl Scout sisters.

Dolly Parton was a Lifetime Girl Scout who lived the Promise and Law out loud. She used her extraordinary voice not only to fill the world with music, but to lift others, champion children, celebrate what makes each of us different and place millions of books into the hands of young readers.

She was courageous, confident and full of character. She led with humor, generosity, authenticity and a whole lot of sparkle—showing generations of girls that you never need to make yourself smaller to make a difference.

The world will be a little less bright without your goodness in it, Dolly. But the light you shared will continue to shine through every song, every story and every child who dreams a little bigger because of you.

Rest well, Girl Scout. Your life truly made the world a better place. 💚✨
