This historic Arizona Territorial designed red brick home has been a longstanding staple along University Avenue since 1902. Years later, Third Street became University Avenue. In 1915 the home was purchased by Harry Arizona Drachman who was City and County Treasurer. He later went on to become a very popular Arizona Senator. His middle name was indeed, "Arizona." That name was given to him as a m

iddle name since he was the first child born in the new Arizona Territory. Harry Drachman was one of ten Drachman Children. The Drachman family were a very prominent pioneering Tucson family. He is a direct relative of Roy P. Drachman. The home remained in the Drachman family until 1985 when it was sold to a law firm. In later years it became a health clinic. In the early years of our new millennium it was purchased and fully restored to its original 1902 grandeur by Tucson philanthropists and historic home restorers Robert and Cathy Morrison. It was sold in June of 2012 to Emery Nicoletti and Dr. S.M. The new owners have decided to keep it as a private residence. Private no-cost tours can be arranged the first Sunday of every month by calling 520-237-3412.
