We are a free, public charter 6-12 school with a small-school atmosphere and emphasis in STEM education. Our staff members have worked together for many years, and have created a sense of community between students, families, and staff. SSA Davis-Monthan is focused on STEM education -- science, engineering, technology and math -- and college prep, with instruction in writing and the arts, and opportunities for healthy physical activity. We offer a learner-centered education with an emphasis on outcomes, visual aids, and technology integrated education. Our high performing school participates in statewide and national math, science, and art competitions. We focus on skill-level education with individualized instruction. We emphasize a scientific approach, hands-on work, computer literacy and the ability of students to use data and articulate a thesis. If it's a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, then our high performing, STEM-focused school might be the place for them. As a public charter school, SSA is tuition-free and open to the public.
