Angel Heart is excited to share we have received a $250 Spark Good local grant from Walmart on W. Ruthraulf Road, Tucson, AZ.

In addition, Angel Heart also received a $300 Spark Good local grant from Walmart on E. Wetmore Road, Tucson, AZ.

These grant funds will bring comfort, warmth, and a sense of security to 55 children in crisis, each receiving a new pair of pajamas to call their very own.

Angel Heart Pajama Project wants to extend our heartfelt gratitude to TFCU for your incredible TFCU Community Award of $20,000 as an investment in our mission.

Your support will directly allow us to provide at least 1,000 children in crisis with new pajamas and books—offering far more than physical items. These gifts bring comfort, security, and dignity at a time when children need it most, helping restore a sense of normalcy and safety at bedtime.

On April 10, 2026, Tucson Federal Credit Union gave out $100,000 in community grants, supporting eight local nonprofits that help with everything from basic needs to housing to food and domestic violence services.

For the first time, Tucson Federal Credit Union employees chose the winners. The decisions came from people who live and work in Southern Arizona.

Angel Heart Pajama Project was chosen as one of the eight local nonprofits receiving a TFCU Community Award.

A New Chapter for Angel Heart Pajama Project

After years of dedicated service, Angel Heart Pajama Project’s Executive Director is preparing for her well-earned retirement. Her leadership, compassion, and commitment have helped grow Angel Heart into a trusted organization serving children in crisis across Southern Arizona. We are deeply grateful for the impact she has made on thousands of children and families in our community.

As we celebrate her legacy, Angel Heart is beginning the search for our next Executive Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a beloved Tucson nonprofit and to continue expanding our mission of providing comfort, dignity, and care to children during difficult times.

We are seeking a hands-on leader who is relationship-driven, community-centered with at least five years of nonprofit leadership or senior management experience. The ideal candidate brings knowledge of foster care or child welfare systems, strong public speaking skills, program operations expertise, a proven track record in fundraising, and a deep passion for advancing our mission of providing comfort, dignity, and care to children in need.
