Under the direction of Donna Fontanarose Rabuck, Ph.d., women come together at bimonthly circles, playshops, and retreats to celebrate, learn about, sing to, and meditate on goddess and seasonal archetypes. Women are nurtured with words, images, music, yoga, meditation, and simple ritual designed to ground and center us in Sacred Feminine ways of knowing and being. Women learn about herstory, the
hitherto silent, invisible yet crucial piece missing from history. We discover role models: goddesses of great strength, power, love, and compassion. Their stories provide healing teachings and wisdom for these times. They encourage a more sacred way of living in the world, with our families, and with ourselves. This path involves thriving instead of simply surviving, respecting the earth and ourselves, aligning with our dreams and visions, and joining as sisters to become "the ones that we've been waiting for" (Karen Drucker). Now celebrating its 28th year, the Center for the Sacred Feminine attracts women locally, nationally, and internationally to attend retreats and playshops. Visit www.centerforsacredfeminine.org for more information. Blessed be!
