Big news from one of our own! 🫶🏽 JLT sustainer Courtney Pulitzer Joubeaud has published her first book, a gentle, illustrated picture book called Saying Bye-Bye to Mama’s Milk: A Gentle Weaning Story.

The story grew out of Courtney’s own experience breastfeeding and weaning her toddler while living in Paris, France, and her search for a gentle way to guide her little one through that transition. It’s also a true family project: the illustrations were created by Courtney’s mother, Charlene Atkinson, a retired Tucson elementary school art teacher.

As we wrap up August, which is also National Breastfeeding Month, we’re proud to celebrate Courtney and this heartfelt new book! ❤️
