Happy Labor Day from the King County Corrections Guild!

Today, we honor the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of the 550+ corrections officers and sergeants who serve our community every day inside the King County jail system.

As union members, you stand on the front lines of public safety—often unseen, but never unimportant. Your strength, resilience, and commitment to the mission are what keep our facilities running and our communities safe.

Labor Day is about recognizing the people who do the hard work, day in and day out. To all our brothers and sisters in the Guild: thank you for everything you do.

Stay safe and enjoy a well-earned day of rest.

In solidarity,
The King County Corrections Guild Executive Board
