United Way of Tulare County focuses on improving conditions for individuals, families and children to strengthen whole community. Our purpose and mission is focused on convening caring individuals, like you, to lead the cause and create the change necessary for building stronger communities. For more than 100 years, United Way has worked to understand the complex issues resulting in economic dispa

rity. We partner with other community experts and volunteers to solve the greatest issues of impoverished conditions--education, income, health and homelessness.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dolly Parton❤️‍

Dolly gave the world so much, but one of her most meaningful legacies will live on in the hands of children for generations to come.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped put books into the homes of millions of children—building a love of reading, strengthening early literacy, creating meaningful family reading time, and helping prepare little ones for school.

Her belief was simple: every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn and grow through books.

We are grateful to play a small part in carrying that vision forward in our own community.

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us just how powerful a book—and a dream—can be. Your legacy will continue with every story read, every page turned and every child inspired. 📚🤍

🧦Donate socks. Make a difference.

United Way of Tulare County is partnering with Kings Tulare Area Agency on Aging to collect new socks for homebound senior citizens in our community.💙

Drop off a new pair (or a few!) in the donation bin at 1852 Visalia now through August 31.

A small donation can go a long way in helping our local seniors feel cared for and supported. 🫶

Unity on Tap with SoccerCity 1852 Visalia was incredible!! Thank you to our community for showing up and supporting us in so many ways, for the organizations who donated awesome raffle baskets, to Charanga do Sonho for the incredible live music, and of course, to 1852 for choosing United Way to be the beneficiary of this months Unity on Tap! In partnership with Kings Tulare Agency on Aging, we are collecting socks to give to homebound senior citizens within our community.

Join us at SoccerCity 1852 Visalia tomorrow from 4pm-10pm for Unity on Tap! $1 donated for every beer sold. But that’s not all, ALL month $1 from every Todos Juntos poured goes directly to United Way of Tulare County.
