Thank you City of Tualatin - Government for supporting our work!

At our April 13 City Council Meeting, we recognized grant recipient Tualatin Food Pantry.

Tualatin Food Pantry is one of the local nonprofits that received funding through the Outside Agency Grant Program, which supports efforts to build a connected, equitable, and thriving community.

Tualatin Food Pantry is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to providing food assistance to individuals and families in need within the Tualatin area. Their mission is to reduce food insecurity by offering accessible, nutritious food in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Through weekly food distribution and community partnerships, the Tualatin Food Pantry helps ensure that community members have reliable access to essential resources.

We wish the LHS Class of 2026 a wonderful graduation! 🎓 TFP will resume regular shopping hours on Friday, June 5.

Team members from Voya stopped by the Pantry this week to help behind the scenes! They completed several cleaning projects helping to make sure our Pantry is tidy and ready for shoppers. 🧹🧼Thanks for sharing the with TFP!

TFP was honored to host the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce’s Friday AM networking event in partnership with the Borland Free Clinic. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the impact TFP and Borland Free Clinic make each day in our community. And in the spirit of community, Chamber members contributed 73 pounds of food and toilet paper to TFP!

Local team members from Liberty Mutual Insurance volunteered at TFP as part of the 2026 Serve with Liberty program. A total of 33 service hours were contributed packing hygiene kits that included shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, deodorant and more! 🧴

THANK YOU Horizon Christian School! This March students and staff held a food drive and gathered 4,571 pounds of food to help stock the shelves at Tualatin Food Pantry.

Our ED enjoyed speaking with the the Bridgeport Elementary School PTO and school leadership (TTSD Schools) this week to share more about our work and learn about the PTO’s investment in the school! We look forward to seeing produce from school’s garden in the Pantry later this summer. 🍅🌽

New Equipment! Thanks to a generous grant from Clackamas County we were able to upgrade our walk-in cooler and freezer.

The units feature more space, brighter lights, an additional shopping door, wider shopping doors, and a dedicated exterior excess door for each unit.

And more importantly give TFP the cooler/freezer space to continue to respond to the expanded need for emergency food support in our community.
