The Future of the Tulelake Library Is Up for Discussion
We want to make our patrons and community members aware of an important upcoming City Council meeting.
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
5:30 PM
Tulelake City Hall
Due to the financial challenges currently facing the City of Tulelake, an item has been placed on the City Council agenda to discuss the potential closure of the Tulelake Library as a way to help address the City's funding shortfall.
We want to emphasize that no decision has been made at this time. However, this discussion could have a significant impact on the future of our library and the services it provides to our community.
We strongly encourage all of our library patrons, families, and community members to attend this meeting and share their thoughts, concerns, and opinions.
Whether you visit the library regularly, bring your children to our programs, use our resources, or simply value having a library in our small community, your voice deserves to be heard.
Our library has long been a place for learning, connection, and community, and we believe it is important that those who use and value it have an opportunity to participate in this conversation.
Please consider attending the November 3rd meeting and making your voice heard.
Thank you for your continued support of the Tulelake Library!
