GFWC Centennial Woman's Club - Our Mission
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The GFWC Centennial Woman's Club meets the second Tuesday of each month (August-May) at 6:00 pm at the Tullahoma Woman's Club house located at 709 Wilson Avenue in Tullahoma. Founde

d in 1890, our historic accomplishments over the last 120 years include:
- Founding more than 75 percent of our nation's libraries
- Developing Kindergarten programs in public schools
- Working for food and drug regulation
- Leading the drive for emergency relief support for efforts from World War I, to September 11, and to recent devastation in Haiti, Japan, and the U.S. Average annual contributions:
- $47 million dollars donated
- 5.5 million hours volunteered
- 136,000 projects completed

Members are of diverse ages, backgrounds, ideals, and beliefs:
- 104,000 members
- Ages 12 to 102

Member clubs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and more than a dozen countries around the world:
- 3,200 clubs
- Located in cities, suburbs, and rural communities

A big thanks to GFWC Centennial Woman’s Club of Tullahoma and everyone who made this year's Live on the Lawn possible! We’re grateful to be among the local nonprofits supported through this wonderful community event.

For more than 20 years, Imagination Library of Coffee County has helped provide books to children across our county from birth to age 5, at no cost to their families. Every book that arrives in a child’s mailbox is another opportunity to read together, build a home library and develop a love of books from an early age.

While Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is an international program, each participating county is responsible for raising the funds needed to support its local children. Community partners and events like Live on the Lawn help us continue putting books into the hands of Coffee County’s youngest readers. ❤️📚

This exquisite quilt will be auctioned at GFWC Centennial’s Live on the Lawn event, May 22, 2026, at South Jackson Performing Arts Center.
The quilt measures 74x84.
The quilt was donated by a Master Quilter who is a member of Girls Night Out Quilting Guild!
