This summer, one of Hickerson’s sweetest faces is hitting the road for some BIG adventures! 💛🖤 Meet Flat Bonni — our traveling friend who is ready to explore beaches 🏖️, mountains ⛰️, parks 🌳, restaurants 🍔, ballgames ⚾, vacations 🚗, and everywhere in between!

📸 We are inviting our Hickerson families, students, faculty, and staff to join in the fun by taking Flat Bonni along on your summer adventures and snapping LOTS of pictures along the way! 💫

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the great things happening at Hickerson while also discussing our current facilities and future needs as we continue working to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.

🌱🦋 Baby Farm City Day: Crimson Clover Master Gardners🖤💛

Our students loved getting their hands dirty while learning alongside these amazing volunteers! 🌼🌿 The Crimson Clover Master Gardeners assisted students in planting throughout our campus, including our 🌱 native garden, 🦋 butterfly garden, 🌸 planters, and 🐦 aviary area.

These hands-on experiences help our Hickerson Hawks learn about pollinators, native plants, gardening, environmental stewardship, and the importance of caring for our outdoor spaces. 🌎💚

We are so thankful for community partners who invest their time, knowledge, and hearts into helping our students grow! ❤️ Your support is helping us create beautiful outdoor learning spaces our students will enjoy for years to come! 🦅✨

💛🖤 At Hickerson Elementary STEM School, our core value of family shines brightly each and every day… and today we celebrate two incredible members of our school family as they begin exciting new chapters! 🌟🍽️🎉

We recently gathered together for a special family potluck to honor 🎓 Monica Cauble on her retirement and 🌎 Amy Palakovic as she begins a new journey. While our hearts are sad to see them go, we are so thankful for the love, dedication, kindness, and impact they have shared with our students, staff, and community over the years. ❤️📚🍎

Mrs. Cauble, thank you for the countless lives you have touched throughout your career. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations of students and educators. 🌟👏

Mrs. Palakovic, thank you for the joy, encouragement, and passion you brought to Hickerson each day. We know you will do amazing things in your new adventure! 🚀💕
