School is back in session, which means the roads will be busy in the mornings and afternoons, more than usual. Remember that there will be new drivers on the road, parents are learning new routes to and from schools, kids will be walking or on bikes, and school zone speed limits will be active again.
We need you to drive safely, Tullahoma. Leave earlier than you might need to in case of extra traffic. Wear your seatbelts and pay attention to speed limit signs. Be patient in traffic, and be courteous to people changing lanes or turning across oncoming traffic. Keep your head on a swivel for little ones walking or biking to school. Stay focused and be observant! No distracted driving! New school years are stressful for everyone. Do all you can do to make sure everyone has a good start back to school and drive safely.
