We feel so fortunate to be included in this beautiful bridal shower! We met the amazing mother-of-the-bride Valerie Field at a market and she mentioned the “meant to bee” theme for her daughter’s bridal shower. We teamed up and provided the honey and jars, Valerie customized them with cute stickers, she even came to the farm and helped bottle the honey! This was such a fun experience, we’d love to collaborate with you on an upcoming event!

The girls are already bringing in pollen! See the yellow balls attached to her legs? That means that the Queen has started laying eggs and the colony is beginning to build up and prepare for foraging when the weather warms up!

You shouldn’t count your hives until Spring but so far so good!

We’re hoping these cold winter temperatures have allowed the bees to cluster and reserve their food stores. Bees don’t hibernate, they form tight clusters and warm themselves and others using their flight muscles! They slowly migrate to through the hive eating honey.
