We have an exciting opportunity for those who want to help our department support Shop With a Cop this holiday season!
On September 25, 2023 at the Yardley Country Club, we will join forces with Middletown Township Police and other local departments to support Shop with a Cop. Get your friends together for an incredibly fun golf outing for a great cause!
You arenโ€™t a golfer? Sponsorship opportunists exist, too! See the attached flier for more details.

Without community support, we would not be able to bring the magic of the holidays to so many kids each year. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Tullytown Police announce the arrest of the Grinch. The Grinch was prowling the Shopping Center parking lot early this morning, while checking the doors of vehicles. He found a vehicle that was unsecure with holiday presents inside.

We would like to remind everyone to lock your vehicles and don't leave valuables inside. Especially in plain sight. The Grinch wants to ruin your Holiday but, that won't happen in Tullytown.

Shop with a Cop is a program that started six years ago in Middletown Township but has since grown to include six other police departments in the Lower Bucks County area. Our mission is simple - to brighten the holiday season for Bucks County children and families who are in need. Through guidance counselors, private submissions and school employees we are able to identify children whose family may be struggling financially, have an ill parent or sibling and/or have a deployed parent. Knowing the financial burden the holiday season can bring, we try to do our part to bring back that holiday magic. Each child that participates is paired with a police officer to go shopping at our local Target. We finance this massive shopping event through some very generous donations and events we hold throughout the year. Every single penny that is raised for this event gets spent on these children and their families. This is the culminating event of a lot of hard work and we try to make it the best day of their year, because without a doubt it is the best day of ours!

All donations are handled by the Middletown Community Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. These are restricted funds, ONLY to be used for Shop with Cop. We truly hope that you find this cause worthy of your donations. We know that these struggling families could not be more appreciative, but for every Officer involved, it is just as rewarding! These kids have faced significant life challenges and we want them to know their "village" is there to support them when we are needed the most.

To donate to Shop with a Cop please make checks payable to Middletown Community Foundation with "SWAC" in the memo and send to:

To all my local friends, Iโ€™ll be collecting leftover and unwanted Halloween Candy for a great organization, A Soldiers Hands......(or you can buy after halloween at cvs super cheap. Please help by donating any left over candy. For A soldiers hands.

Iโ€™m including a description of this great organization and what they do, it was started by a truly selfless friend, Trish Shallenberger. Care packets include so many thoughtful and caring things, our Girl Scout troop has donated cookies for our soldiers on many occasions. Thank you all !

WHAT WOULD YOU DO if a soldier sitting next to you on a plane said "Thank you for the hand cream. Dry hands are harder to handle than my fear. Thanks for the offer to send some more over to me where I'm deployed, but truthfully, unless the whole unit gets some, it's not fair."

Well - one woman did have this conversation, and responded in 2007. Since then, A Soldier's Hands has distributed almost 12,000 individual care packages, unit by unit, with no soldier or sailor in the unit going unacknowledged.

Our mission is to send hand care products inside a care package to every single service man and woman who is deployed defending our freedom. We achieve this one unit at a time, with personalized thank you notes in each care package, along with sun screen, hand cream, lip balm and other surprises.
You can drop off or I can pick up. Thank you for your support!
My address is 264 Thornridge Dr. You can hang it from my mailbox or leave by front door. Or I can pick up.
Thank you!
