Do you love old mansions and local history? Then do we have an opportunity for you! The Rogers County Historical Society is looking for fun loving, creative volunteers to help at the Belvidere Mansion in Claremore. Volunteers would help with planning, set-up and working some of fun filled fundraising events! Spooky Season is coming up soon and we have events like our Annual Haunted House, Practical Magic Nights, and Paranormal Investigations. We have a small group of great volunteers, and if you think you might want to help please message us or comment below. Please co nsider joining us and we look forward to meeting you!

Tulsa's FAVORITE campout at Turkey Mountain is BACK for 2026! Join us for BaseCamp Camping Festival at the Herman and Kate Kaiser YMCA October 3-4th!
Basecamp Camping festival is a relaxed, family-friendly overnight event inviting campers of all ages to pitch a tent, gather around the campfire, enjoy outdoor activities, and make meaningful memories under the stars.
🌙 We Added an Early Bird Night! (Friday, October 2nd)
You asked, and we listened! Campers can now arrive Friday evening to grab their camping spot, settle in early, enjoy the unplugged atmosphere, and spend extra time connecting with nature.
Saturday evening will remain the main night of festivities, with activities, entertainment, food, campfire fun, and more planned for the whole family.
Festival announcements are coming soon, including event partners and sponsors, entertainment, the planned activity schedule, featured food, camping location options, and more!

🔥 FIRE SEASON IS HERE — HELP US KEEP OUR FIREFIGHTERS FUELED & HYDRATED 🔥

We’ve had several people reach out asking what our firefighters need, and we truly appreciate everyone who has asked.

As we head into the beginning of fire season, our firefighters can spend long, hot hours on grass and wildland fires, sometimes without the opportunity to sit down for a meal. Small, easy-to-carry snacks and plenty of fluids make a big difference.

We are currently in need of:

• Bottled water
• Gatorade or other electrolyte drinks
• Beef jerky
• Slim Jims/meat sticks
• Granola or protein bars
• Peanut butter or cheese crackers
• Trail mix
• Nuts
• Fruit snacks
• Other individually wrapped snacks that can fit in a backpack or turnout gear pocket

We have already received a few generous donations of water and Gatorade, and we are extremely thankful! ❤️ With the heat and fire season just getting started, though, we can always use more.

Every case of water, bottle of Gatorade, and box of snacks helps us keep our firefighters hydrated and fueled while they’re out protecting life and property.

Thank you to everyone who continues to ask, donate, and support the Kellyville Fire Department. Your support means more to our firefighters than you know. 🚒🔥
