🐝🧡 COMMUNITY PARTNER SHOUT-OUT! 🧡🐝

A HUGE shout-out to our amazing community partner,Asbury Church! We are so excited to continue this incredible partnership and expand the ways we work together to support our Baby Hornets!

📚 This year, we are TRIPLING the number of volunteers serving through our Reading Buddies program!

📖 We’re also excited to bring back our Lunch Book Club, giving students even more opportunities to build a love for reading and connect with caring adults.

🍎 And the support doesn’t stop with our students! Asbury Church continues to pour into our staff, helping provide teachers with resources and classroom needs so they can continue creating great experiences for our students.

Thank you, Asbury Church, for believing in our Baby Hornets, supporting our teachers, and continuing to invest in the Whitman community. We are grateful for your partnership and excited for everything we will accomplish together this year!

Check out our Baby Hornets leading and learning—inside and outside the classroom! 🧡🖤

Each week, our students have the opportunity to participate in clubs, explore their interests, and develop new skills. In the classroom, they are learning to explain their thinking, collaborate with others, and grow into strong, confident readers.

This year, our theme is Mission: Excellence—learning to pursue excellence in all that we do!

This week has been an AWESOME week of learning, growing, and working together. From our classrooms to our hallways, we are continuing to raise the bar and build a culture where excellence is the expectation.
