Dabere Chukwu needs eye surgery soon! He has been diagnosed with Carotid-Cavernous Fistula. It causes immense pain in his left eye, a pulsating, vibrating pressure behind his socket, and numbness extending down his left arm all the way through his hand. Dabere is not able to work because of this, and has to spend his free time doing odd jobs in order to get by. Dabere also spends a fair amount of time online trying to learn more about the world. His dream is to move to the US someday, and enter the ministry while working as a trucker. Let's help him regain his independence, his vision, and his dream! Dabere needs $400 down to get the operation, and $5000 total eventually. He feels confident that if he can just get the $400 to get the operation out of the way, he'll be able to get back to work and pay off the remaining $4600 balance.
