We have some exciting library card news!

We are so proud to be partnering with Laufey - 2X GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, New York Times bestselling author, and honorary chair of Library Card Signup Month and her global Laufey Book Club to offer a limited-edition TRL X Laufey Book Club Card celebrating community, creativity, and connection this September.

TRL is the ONLY library system in the state partnering with Laufey Book Club for this limited-edition card and one of nearly 50 library systems across the world launching these collaborative library cards.

How YOU can get your card:

• Cards will arrive at TRL libraries in early September, just in time for Library Card Signup Month.

• Follow your local Timberland Library on social media for an announcement when the cards arrive at your branch.

• Check your library’s open days and hours at TRL.org/Locations.

• Cards are available to both new and existing TRL cardholders*, one per patron, while supplies last. No reservations will be available.

Ann, Emily, and the Anywhere Library van had lots of fun at Willapa Elementary's Back to School Night on Tuesday! Thanks for hosting them, folks; they're so excited to visit your students throughout the 2026/27 school year.

Grays Harbor and Pacific County's Anywhere Library powers combined at Tokeland Woodfest last Saturday! We loved being back for our second year at this awesome community event—even if that refreshing sea breeze did try to steal our canopy!

Kids of all ages enjoyed decorating bookmarks and got VERY excited about our scavenger hunt. (Shout out to all the vendors who hosted our pictures of wood-themed words, such as "woodchuck" and "Hollywood.") LOTS of people made library cards—including entire families!—and others shared what libraries mean to them for the ongoing Pacific County community collage.

Thank you to Tokeland Woodfest for inviting us for another delightfully windswept year—and a big thank you to everyone who stopped by!
