Officer Brown had a great time celebrating Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Week by visiting three classrooms at Tunica Elementary and sharing the joy of reading with some amazing students. Chief Smith handed out Junior Officer badges to the students, making the visit even more special.

A big thank you to Tunica Elementry and its wonderful staff for the invitation and for welcoming our officers into your classrooms. Opportunities like this highlight the importance of literacy for our young learners and show how strong community partnerships help support student success.

Reading together not only builds imagination and knowledge, but it also strengthens the connection between our community and those who serve it. We are grateful to be part of such a supportive and engaged school community.
