The following Streets in the Old Sub Division will be closed until further notice due to construction: Edwards Street, East of Flagg Street, and Sears Street.

Emergency Road Closure:
Prichard Rd at Hwy 61 and Anderson St South to Prichard are closed due to a ruptured natural gas line. Atmos crews are repairing at this time.

The following roads will be closed for repairs, today July 20, 2026, with an estimated reopening time of 4:30pm. They will close again tomorrow July 21, 2026 from 7am to 4:30pm.

Prichard Rd between Flagg Street and Sear Street are closed due to a ruptured natural gas line. Atmos crew, Town of Tunica, Tunica Volunteer Fire Department, and Tunica Sheriff's Office are on the scene. Atmos crews are repairing at this time.

A severe Thunderstorm watch has been issued for Tunica until 10:00pm this evening. Scattered damaging winds gust to 70mph possible.

Road construction:

Reconstruction work has begun on Casino Strip Resort Blvd between US Hwy 61 and Old Hwy 61. We encourage travelers using this route to use extreme caution and patience while crews are working on this roadway.

The entire Mid-South is now under a slight risk for severe weather today. Storms are expected to move into this area late this afternoon through the evening hours. Primary hazards will be damaging winds with secondary risk of heavy rainfall.
