Wyoming county voters,
Mail-in/absentee ballots went out in today’s mail.

08/23/2024

Based on available information, it appears that longtime registered voters are receiving text messages from “Allvote.com” indicating that there is a problem with their voter registration and urging them to take action to update their status.

It is important to remind voters that opportunistic bad actors may attempt to use this campaign season to send phishing or smishing emails/texts like the one described above. Therefore, voters should not click on links unless they are certain that the message is from a credible source, and they should never provide personal identifying information in response to such a message.
