The Tuolumne Rancheria Fire Department has had a productive month focused on advancing training and operational readiness to better serve our communities.
The TRFD recently hosted a week-long Rope Rescue Awareness and Operations Course, successfully certifying seven personnel from our structure division. This training enhances our team's technical rescue capabilities, ensuring a more effective response to complex emergency situations.
In addition, two personnel from our wildland division completed the Dozer Operations Training, hosted by the Modesto Fire Department. This marks a significant step forward for our wildland fire response efforts.
We are proud to announce that the TRFD Fire Dozer Program will officially be in service for the 2025 fire season. This expansion will provide critical support during wildfire incidents and strengthen our overall operational capacity.

As we come together with friends and family today, let’s take a moment to reflect on the true significance of this day.

The TRFD pays tribute to those who gave their lives so that we, the people, could remain free in our pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness.

May their courage and sacrifice serve as a reminder to us all to cherish our freedoms, for they are not given without cost.
