Yesterday was a special day as we celebrated the groundbreaking for the Johnson family’s future home!

For every Habitat family, a groundbreaking represents much more than the start of construction—it marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with hope, stability, and opportunity.

We are honored to partner with the Johnson family on their journey to homeownership and look forward to watching their dream become a reality in the months ahead.

This home will be built through the support of dedicated volunteers, generous donors, community partners, and the hard work of the Johnson family themselves. Together, we are building more than a house—we are helping create a place where memories will be made and futures will be strengthened for generations to come.

Congratulations to Mr. Louis Clayton. He is the grand prize winner of our $500 Habitat for Humanity gift card drawing. Thank you to everyone who participated. With your help, we were able to raise over $600 for Habitat of Humanity of Northeast Mississippi!

It’s a special thing when a business chooses to invest not only in its community, but in its people.

This week, Dodge's volunteered at our most recent Habitat build, helping paint both the interior and exterior of the home. Their support was especially meaningful because the future homeowner is one of their own employees.

In addition to serving on the build site, Dodge’s went above and beyond by becoming a corporate sponsor for the home—demonstrating a true commitment to supporting their team and strengthening our community.

We are incredibly grateful for Dodge’s partnership, generosity, and heart for service. Thank you for helping us build homes, communities, and hope!

A special shout out to Northeast Mississippi Board of Realtors for spending their morning with us! We enjoyed spending time with them, as they worked on priming the interior of our most recent build. We were also able to share about our homeownership program, and the importance of the work through which we are able to provide affordable housing in Tupelo / Lee County.

Their team jumped in to prime and paint our ICF build, serving with joy and purpose and truly living out their faith in action. Because of their willingness to serve others, this home is one step closer to being a place of hope and stability for a local family.
