Are you a hardworking individual who loves being outdoors and has a passion for animals? We are looking for an energetic and dependable team member to join us at the Tupelo Buffalo Park & Zoo!
If you’re ready to trade a desk for the great outdoors and help us provide an unforgettable experience for our visitors, we want to hear from you.
What the Job Entails:
• Animal Care & Knowledge: Interacting with and monitoring our farm animals and exotic residents. You should be comfortable around animals and eager to share facts with guests.
• Customer Service: Greeting visitors with a smile, answering questions, and ensuring everyone has a safe and fun visit.
• Physical Labor: General park maintenance and animal care tasks. You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.
• Outdoor Environment: We operate rain or shine! You must be willing to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, or cold).
Requirements:
• Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
•Must have valid drivers license
• Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to pass a drug test.
• Experience: Previous experience with livestock or farm animals is a major plus.
• Attitude: A positive, "can-do" personality and great communication skills.
