I had the honor of attending the Agent Orange Awareness Day event at Veterans Park this evening. 🇺🇸

It was incredibly meaningful to spend time talking with our Vietnam Veterans and their families, hearing stories, and honoring the sacrifices they made.

Thank you to Tupelo Parks and Recreation and Leslie Pearman for putting together such a great event.

Please share with any Vietnam Veterans you know. I hope to see you all out there!

Please share with any Vietnam Veterans you know. I hope to see you all out there!

Every day in our office, we see the lasting effects that the Vietnam War has had on so many of our veterans and their families. Their sacrifices didn’t end when they came home.

Please consider joining us next Monday.

We hope to see you there. 🇺🇸

Today at our Forum, we had the privilege of hearing from Jason Harris and his wife with Warrior Rendezvous Farm. They shared their incredible story of combining their passion for helping veterans with their love of agriculture and the outdoors to create a place of healing, purpose, and connection for those who have served. Their mission is truly inspiring and a reminder of the many ways our community continues to support veterans beyond the uniform.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to check them out and follow their page. While you’re there, be sure to grab some delicious Warrior Honey! 🍯🇺🇸 Not only is it amazing honey, but every purchase helps support a mission dedicated to serving veterans and their families. Thank you, Jason and your family, for sharing your heart with us today and for the difference you’re making in the lives of so many veterans.

Today we were honored to host our quarterly Northeast Mississippi Veterans’ Forum, and what a fantastic turnout it was! 🇺🇸

Today’s meeting included representatives from the offices of Congressman Trent Kelly, Senator Roger Wicker, and Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith’s offices, City of Tupelo, Good Samaritan Health Clinic, Tupelo CBOC, Mississippi Veterans Affairs (MSVA), surrounding County Veteran Service Officers, MUTEH, Salvation Army, Lee Memorial, local veteran organizations, Warrior Rendezvous Farm and many other community partners dedicated to serving veterans and their families.

We discussed:
🇺🇸 Community resources and new veteran initiatives
🇺🇸 Homeless veteran outreach
🇺🇸 What Veteran Affairs spending is providing to our counties
🇺🇸 Upcoming Su***de Prevention Training
🇺🇸 Agent Orange Awareness Day

Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend, share updates, and work together. It takes partnerships like these to ensure our veterans receive the care, resources, and support they’ve earned.

Together, we are stronger, and together we continue making a difference for the veterans of Northeast Mississippi. 🇺🇸❤️
