The National Weather Service have posted a WINTER WEATHER WARNING. It is in effect from 10:00 PM today 1/12 until 12:00 PM Saturday 1/13. They are calling for heavy snow from 6 to 10 inches with a glazing of ice. They are calling for possible sustained winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. These conditions can make travel very difficult. Please prepare so that travel can be kept to a minimum and stay safe.

The National Weather Service has upgraded the high wind watch to a WARNING. They are calling for sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph. Accompanied by gusts of 65 mph possible. Timing us from 4:00 PM Tuesday (1/9) until 7:00 AM on Wednesday (1/10). This storm may start with heavy wet snow on Tuesday with possible accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. They are citing the possibility of numerous trees and branches being brought down. They are also looking at numerous and wide spread power outages as a result of the heavy snow and winds.

Also any one traveling to the south of our area be advised snow conditions may worsen, and travel advisories have been issued.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch for our area. This watch will be in effect from 3:00 AM today (1/7) until 1:00 PM Wednesday (1/10). This could affect Franklin County, south eastern S t Lawrence county and Western Clinton county. They are saying that winds could be at 30 to 40 mph, with gusts as high as 65 mph. If the winds reach this magnitude it could result in wide spread power outages and trees down. Also with the recent snows could result in poor visibility. Again at this tine this is a watch, I will repost when any further info becomes available.

The National Weather Service has updated the winter storm watch to a warning. They are forecasting rain during the day today 12/10 turning to snow around 10:00 PM. Snow will continue through the night and tomorrow 12/11. They are estimating snow totals of 6 to 10 inches with localized amounts up to 12 inches. Winds may gust as high as 40 MPH. This will be heavy wet snow and can result in scattered power outages. Any updates by the weather service will be passed in.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for our area. The watch is in effect from 10:00 PM Sunday 12/10 until 7:00 PM Monday 12/11. They are forecasting heavy wet snow with potential accumulations if 5 To 10 inches. Winds may gust from 25 to 35 MPH. At this time this is a watch. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area. It is in effect from Saturday March 18 at 5:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday March 19th. This is forecasted as a lake effect snow event. They have projected the possibility of 2 to 6 inches of snow, with a possibility of 8 inches of snow. There could also be wind gusts up to 40 MPH

The National Weather Service has upgraded the winter storm advisory to a Winter Storm Warning for our area. It is in effect until 8 AM on Wednesday 3/15. They are reporting a potential snowfall amount of 6 to 11 inches. This snow will continue to be very heavy snow with high moisture content. Please take care and be safe.

The National Weather has issued a Winter Storm Advisory for our area. It is in effect fro 8 PM Monday until 8 AN Wednesday. They are calling for 4 fo 6 inches of heavy wet snow. Please be careful when driving or walking.

The national weather service has issued high wind warnings for Souther Franklin County. The warning starts at 7:00 PM today 2/09 and lasts until 12:00 PM on Friday 2/10. They are predicting wind gusts could reach 50 mph. Please stay safe.
