Tupper Lake Fire Department DIAL- 911 FOR EMERGENCIES The Tupper Lake Fire Department operates with 50 volunteer firefighters out of two stations.

We run 4 Engines, 1 Tanker, 1 85' Tower Ladder, 1 Brush truck, 1 Fire Boat and 1 Pickup. We respond 24hrs/7days a week to any type of calls for assistance.

* WHERE...Clinton, Franklin, Northern St. Lawrence, Southwestern St. Lawrence, and Western Essex Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest period of winds are expected between noon and 5 PM today.

in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...In New York, St. Lawrence, Northern Adirondacks and Champlain Valley of New York. In Vermont, Champlain Valley of Vermont.

* TIMING...The lowest humidities and strongest winds will occur between 11 AM and 7 PM today.

* WINDS...South 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 to 25 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Upper 60s to mid 70s.

* Impacts...If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain.

* AFFECTED AREA...In New York, St. Lawrence, Northern Adirondacks, Adirondack High Peaks and Champlain Valley of New York. In Vermont, Champlain Valley of Vermont and western Rutland County.

* Timing...The lowest humidities and strongest winds will occur between 11 AM and 7 PM on Tuesday.

* WINDS...South 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, with localized higher gusts in northern New York.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 to 25 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

* Impacts...If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain.
