Assyrian National Council of Stanislaus ANCS is a coalition of local Assyrian organizations united to support, uplift, and strengthen our community.

We empower one another to grow, preserve our heritage, and create a brighter future for Assyrians in Stanislaus County and beyond. In view of the recent growth of our Assyrian community in the Stanislaus county, there has been an apparent realization to establish, through democratic process, a representation to serve the general interest of our community. We the representatives of our esteemed org

anizations, fully realizing our responsibility toward our people, found it necessary to establish that representation in the Stanislaus County, State of California to assist, or cooperate, when ever possible, with agencies, or individuals involved in programs that are similar to ours.

Today, we came together to honor and remember our Assyrian martyrs and the countless lives lost for our people, our faith, and our homeland.

Thank you to everyone who came out and stood with us on this important day. We were especially honored to have priests from our different Assyrian churches stand together in unity, alongside representatives of various Assyrian political and non-political organizations.

We were also grateful to welcome local, county, and state elected officials who spoke so highly of our community and shared how proud they are to have Assyrians as part of this county.

Days like this remind us of the strength of our community and the importance of standing together. Our martyrs are not forgotten, and neither is their sacrifice.

Assyrian Martyrs Day is more than a commemoration, it is our responsibility. If we fail to remember our history, we risk losing it.

We encourage every Assyrian in Stanislaus County to join us as we honor our fallen ancestors and stand together as one community.
