4-5pm. Join Mass Audubon educator Kelly Walbert to play a butterfly migration game, dress up to learn about butterfly adaptations, and create a beautiful butterfly craft to take home and enjoy. This program is designed for children ages 5-12 and their families.

Turners Falls Quiet “Fireworks” Show
9pm. Enjoy the visuals of fireworks displays from around the country. “Fireworks” will be projected on the wall of the Shea Theater Alley, for anyone who could use a quieter Fourth of July, whether they’re a veteran, are sensitive to loud noises, or just love fireworks in any form. The event begins at 9 pm with a showing of the short documentary “Fourth of July at Turners Falls 1951” by the Montague Historical Society. Free popcorn and drinks.
